The Background:

Extreme Mental Adventure (EMA) is an adventure race concept created by one of our existing clients, Zing Event Management. The concept combines both physical, mental and orienteering challenges.

The Challenge:

We were asked to create an original and recognisable logo for the event concept. The challenge was to create a compact and easy to use logo with three long words.

The Solution:

Our solution played on the concept of 'x marks the spot' by using the 'x' in the word 'extreme' as a 't' for the words 'mental' and 'adventure'. By using transparency to show the three words overlapping, we created not only a compact logo but also an effective company icon.
